General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has vowed that the UAE will continue to lead the region economically for the next 25 years.
"No country in the region will outpace the UAE economically for the next 25 years," he claimed.
Gen. Shaikh Mohammed, who witnessed last evening the inauguration of Al Raha Beach Project, said the UAE was head and shoulders above the others, thanks to an unparalleled stability and a strong will to press further ahead.
Gen. Shaikh Mohammed made an optimistic note about the future of investment in Abu Dhabi and the UAE at large, particularly in the area of real estate. “Real estate investment in Abu Dhabi is among the best investments in the region. There is no room for concern," he pointed out.
He disclosed that several zones had been earmarked for property ownership by expatriates. “The details will be announced in due course," he said.
"The Al Raha Beach will be one of the most major property development projects in the Gulf region for the next decade," he added.
The inaugural ceremony of the 500-hectare project, which will allow expatriates to own residential units, was attended by senior government officials, and local, regional and international businessmen and economic figures.
