The Dubai Police Academy has announced various highlights of the forthcoming conference on "Legal and Security Aspects of Tourism Industry".
Being organised from April 3 to 5 under the patronage of Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, the conference aims at reviewing the Dubai tourism experiment and highlight the security and stability witnessed in the emirates, which have helped the country emerge as a destination of choice for tourists from all over the world.
The conference will also focus on the future of the tourism industry in the UAE in general and in Dubai in particular, besides analysing the latest trends and benefits from this sector. While special study papers will be presented during the conference, international companies will have an opportunity to showcase their tourism packages and projects at an exhibition which will be held on the sidelines of the conference.
The conference will also review proposed legislative amendments to local laws in order to enhance tourism development. Several working papers will also be presented during the conference covering tourism development, hotels, the dynamic relationship between civil aviation and tourism, as well as the overall Dubai tourism experience.
The conference is organised in collaboration with Dubai Tourism Department, Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department, Dubai Customs and Free Zone, Dubai World Trade Centre, Emirates airline, Nakheel, Emaar, Jumeirah Residence, Dubai Economic Development Department, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Land, Jumeirah International, Dnata, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Zayed International Environment Award.
